ABOUT THE ROLE 

  • Lead in close partnership with R&D and operations the overall technical design of packaging systems and entire manufacturing lines to drive step change development for major capital projects including new plants, plant expansions and new technology implementations applying six sigma tools.
  • Acts as a coach in concept FMEAs.
  • Responsible for performance-based specificationsLead and support conceptual engineering, scope development, project cost estimations, plant layouts, CER preparation,specifications, detailed process design and vendor selection.

Qualifications

For this role as a Packaging Application Engineer, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor / Master’s degree in engineering (production technique, mechanical, electrical engineering,
  • 6 – 10 years’ experience in regional engineering, manufacturing or R&D. Has proven to successfully lead major technical programs
  • Fluent in English 
  • Lead concept FMEAs and co-leads process FMEAs, design FMEAs understands and support the CI process.
  • Proven track record to direct and manage complex projects in a global environment Six Sigma training as Green Belt, Black Belt or FMEA coach.
  • Excellent project management and planning skills
  • Frequent travels, Flexibilty
